Nimbus Broadband Ceiling Cloud |
|
The Primacoustic Nimbus Cloud is a high-performance ceiling cloud designed to hang from the ceiling and capture ambient reverberation. It absorbs sound as it hits the front face of the panel while trapping powerful reflections behind as they echo off the ceiling. The Nimbus is made of 2-inch thick, high-density 6lb per cubic foot glass wool fully encapsulated with micromesh and treated with resin-hardened edges. The acoustic panel is then covered in an attractive yet rugged fabric coating that is easy to clean. Installation is easy using the included screw-in Cloud Anchors™, ceiling hooks, and hanging wire. As with all Broadway panels, the Nimbus has been fire-tested to meet ASTM-E84 and Can/UL-S102 to achieve the stringent Class-A/1 designation for safe use in public spaces. Acoustic testing has been undertaken at Riverbank Labs to ensure the Nimbus delivers effective absorption throughout the critical voice range. Once in place, the Nimbus reduces reverb and echo, lowering ambient noise. This significantly improves communication while reducing stress caused by ear fatigue. It makes the Nimbus an effective solution for restaurants, cafeterias, classrooms, lobbies, libraries, call centers, and airports where the reverberant field is so prominent that it makes conversation difficult. The Nimbus provides a practical yet more affordable alternative to the Stratus for the studio. The Primacoustic Nimbus Cloud gracefully suspends from the ceiling of any room to provide effective reverberant control for improved intelligibility. Each Nimbus kit includes a fabric-covered 24” x 48”x1.5” high-density glass wool panel, hanging wire, and four Helix anchors. Installation is easy and unobtrusive, even in the most lavish surroundings. The cloud is covered with acoustic fabric in three neutral colors: Artic White, Black, and Grey, as well as Paintable White, to match most room decors. Available in the following: |
