Hello Visitors and Friends,
My youngest daughter’s love for books began at birth. She surrounded herself with books and was reading elementary novels before kindergarten. When asked, “What would you like to do today?” her favorite place to visit was the book store. Consequently, I was exposed to hundreds of children stories.
Years later, I missed the times of her sitting on my lap, flipping the pages as I would read to her. I became inspired to write an original story.
I was completely naïve to the publishing world. I quickly learned that those that did not want to be star actors or rock stars wanted to be authors. In fact, the area is filled with stars that too wrote a children’s story. Much to my regret, I also discovered that the publishing world uses the same technique and systems to find and develop talent that we find in the music business. As we all know, the music industry R&D (called A&R) is the worst model for any company that wishes to make money and contribute to its’ creators. But I digress, that is a whole other story.
Anyway, after many, many attempts, I have not been rejected, simply because I cannot find someone in the industry that is willing to read it. So, I decided to post it and share it with our visitors. If you like it, share it with others.
Thank you for your consideration.
